Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) is a flagship scheme that provides free LPG gas connections to women from Below Poverty Line (BPL) households. The scheme aims to replace unhealthy cooking fuels with clean LPG. Through Bharat Notice, you can apply for a new Ujjwala connection, check application status, and access the portals of all three LPG providers - Indane Gas, HP Gas, and Bharat Gas.
Under PMUY 2.0, the government provides free first refill and hotplate along with the connection. Existing Ujjwala beneficiaries can also convert their regular connection to Ujjwala connection for additional benefits. The scheme has benefited over 9 crore families across India.
