RRB Junior Engineer CBT-2 Admit Card 2026 Released

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially released the admit card for the Junior Engineer (JE) CBT-2 examination 2026 on 29 June 2026. Candidates who qualified in the CBT-1 examination held from 16 to 19 December 2025 can now download their CBT-2 hall ticket from the official RRB website or from the regional RRB portals. The Computer Based Test (CBT 2) is scheduled to be conducted from 13 to 15 July 2026 across various centres in India. The admit card is a mandatory document for entry to the examination centre.

The RRB JE recruitment was notified on 25 July 2025 for a total of 7951 vacancies across various posts including Junior Engineer, Junior Engineer (Information Technology), Depot Material Superintendent, Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant, and other technical posts in Indian Railways. The application window was open from 25 July to 24 August 2025. The CBT-1 result was declared on 13 May 2026 along with the cutoff PDF, and qualified candidates are now eligible to appear in CBT-2.

The CBT-2 examination will have 150 objective type questions of 150 marks in 120 minutes, with each correct answer carrying 1 mark and each wrong answer carrying a penalty of 1/3 mark (negative marking). The exam will have five sections — Technical Abilities (100 questions, highest weightage), General Awareness (15 questions), General Intelligence and Reasoning (15 questions), Mathematics (10 questions), and General Science (10 questions). The Technical Abilities section will test the candidate's domain knowledge in their respective engineering discipline.

Sarkari Notice 247 advises all qualified candidates to immediately download their admit card and verify all the details printed on it including name, photograph, signature, exam date, shift timing, and centre address. Any discrepancy should be immediately reported to RRB through the official helpline. Candidates must also carry a valid photo identity proof (Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, Driving Licence, or Passport) along with the printed admit card and two passport size photographs to the examination centre. The reporting time mentioned on the admit card should be strictly followed as the gates will close 30 minutes before the exam starts.

  • Click on the "Download Admit Card" link for JE CEN 03/2025 CBT-2
  • Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth
  • Fill in the captcha code displayed on screen
  • Click on Submit button to view your admit card
  • Download and take a clear printout on A4 paper
  • Verify all details and carry it with a photo ID to the exam centre
