RRB Paramedical Staff Recruitment Result 2026 Declared
Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially declared the result for the Paramedical Staff Recruitment Examination 2026 on 30 June 2026. Candidates who appeared in the Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted from 15 to 17 February 2026 for various paramedical posts in Indian Railways can now check their result and download the zone-wise merit list from the official RRB websites. The result has been declared separately for each RRB zone, and candidates need to check the website of the RRB zone they applied for.
The RRB Paramedical recruitment was notified on 05 January 2025 for a total of 1373 vacancies across various paramedical posts including Staff Nurse, Pharmacist, Lab Technician, Radiographer, Dietician, Health Inspector, and other paramedical positions in Indian Railways. The application window was open from 05 to 25 January 2025. The CBT was conducted from 15 to 17 February 2026 across various centres in India. The provisional answer key was released on 25 February 2026, and after considering objections, the final result has now been declared.
The CBT examination had 100 objective type questions of 100 marks in 90 minutes, with each correct answer carrying 1 mark and each wrong answer carrying a penalty of 1/3 mark (negative marking). The exam covered five sections — Professional Ability (70 questions, highest weightage), General Awareness (10 questions), General Intelligence and Reasoning (10 questions), Mathematics (5 questions), and General Science (5 questions). The Professional Ability section tested the candidate's domain knowledge in their respective paramedical discipline. The cutoff varied for different posts and categories.
Sarkari Notice 247 congratulates all candidates who have qualified the RRB Paramedical examination and advises them to immediately check their result on their respective RRB zone website. Qualified candidates will now be called for Document Verification (DV), which is tentatively scheduled for July-August 2026. Candidates should keep all their original documents ready including educational certificates, professional registration certificates (for nursing/pharmacy posts), category certificate, age proof, and other relevant documents. After successful DV, candidates will undergo a medical examination specific to their post before being appointed in their allotted RRB zone. The pay scale for paramedical posts ranges from Rs.21700 to Rs.92300 per month (Level 3 to Level 7) depending on the post.
