UPTET 2026 Admit Card Released - Download Hall Ticket Now

Exam Regulatory Authority, Uttar Pradesh has officially released the admit card for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026 on 30 June 2026. Candidates who have registered for UPTET 2026 can now download their hall ticket from the official website at updeled.gov.in or from the UPESSC admit card portal at admitcards.upessc.org using their registration number and date of birth. The UPTET 2026 examination is scheduled to be conducted on 06 July 2026.

UPTET is a teacher eligibility test conducted annually by the Exam Regulatory Authority, Uttar Pradesh for candidates who wish to become teachers in government primary and upper primary schools of UP. The test is conducted in two papers — Paper 1 for Primary Level (Class 1-5) and Paper 2 for Junior Level (Class 6-8). Candidates who wish to teach both levels need to appear in both papers. The UPTET certificate is valid for lifetime and qualifying the test makes candidates eligible to apply for teaching positions in UP government schools.

The UPTET 2026 examination will have 150 objective type questions of 150 marks in 2.5 hours for each paper, with each correct answer carrying 1 mark and no negative marking. Paper 1 covers Child Development & Pedagogy, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, Language 1, and Language 2. Paper 2 covers Child Development & Pedagogy, Mathematics/Science/Social Studies, Language 1, and Language 2. The qualifying marks are 60% (90 out of 150) for all categories. The medium of examination is both Hindi and English.

Sarkari Notice 247 advises all candidates to immediately download their admit card and verify all the details printed on it including name, photograph, signature, exam date, shift timing, and centre address. Any discrepancy should be immediately reported to the Exam Regulatory Authority. Candidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo identity proof (Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, or Driving Licence) to the examination centre.
