RRB Junior Engineer JE CBT-II Answer Key 2026 Released

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially released the provisional answer key for the Junior Engineer (JE) CBT-2 examination 2026 on 09 July 2026. The CBT-2 examination was conducted from 13 to 15 July 2026 for 7951 JE vacancies across Indian Railways. Candidates who appeared in the CBT-2 can now download the answer key from the official RRB website and raise objections against any incorrect answer.

The RRB JE recruitment was notified on 28 June 2025 for 7951 vacancies including Junior Engineer, JE (IT), Depot Material Superintendent, and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant. The CBT-1 was conducted in December 2025 and its result was declared on 13 May 2026. Qualified candidates appeared in CBT-2 from 13-15 July 2026.

The CBT-2 had 150 objective type questions of 150 marks in 120 minutes with negative marking of 1/3 mark per wrong answer. The Technical Abilities section had the highest weightage with 100 questions. RRB has opened the objection window for candidates who wish to challenge any answer in the provisional key. The objection window will remain open till 13 July 2026.

Sarkari Notice 247 advises all candidates to carefully review the answer key and raise objections only when they are confident about a particular answer. After the final answer key is released, the result is expected in August 2026. The pay scale for JE posts starts at Rs.35400 per month (Level 6) plus allowances.

1. Visit the official RRB website of your zone (e.g., rrbcdg.gov.in)
2. Click on "Answer Key" or "Objection" link for JE CEN 05/2025 CBT-2
3. Login with your Registration Number and Date of Birth
4. Download the answer key PDF for your question paper set
5. Match your responses with the answer key and calculate your score
6. To raise objection, select the question and provide justification
7. Submit the objection before 13 July 2026
