UPPSC Assistant Town Planner ATP Pre Answer Key 2026 Released

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has officially released the provisional answer key for the Assistant Town Planner (ATP) Preliminary Examination 2026 on 05 July 2026. The preliminary examination was conducted on 30 June 2026 for 64 vacancies of Assistant Town Planner across various planning departments in Uttar Pradesh. Candidates who appeared in the exam can now download the answer key from the official UPPSC website at uppsc.up.nic.in.

The UPPSC ATP recruitment was notified on 10 November 2025 for 64 Assistant Town Planner vacancies. Eligibility required candidates to have a Degree in Planning, Architecture, or Civil Engineering, or a Post Graduate Degree in Geography or Economics. The selection process includes Preliminary Examination (qualifying), Mains Examination (merit-deciding), and Interview.

The preliminary examination had 120 objective type questions of 120 marks in 2 hours, with each correct answer carrying 1 mark and each wrong answer carrying a penalty of 0.33 mark (negative marking). The exam covered General Knowledge, UP General Knowledge, Planning, Architecture, and Geography sections. UPPSC has opened the objection window for candidates who wish to challenge any answer in the provisional answer key. The objection window will remain open till 10 July 2026.

Sarkari Notice 247 advises all candidates to carefully review the answer key and calculate their expected score.
