SBI Circle Based Officer Final Result 2026 Declared – 5180 Posts

State Bank of India (SBI), the country's largest public sector bank, has officially declared the SBI CBO Final Result 2026 on 28 July 2026 for the recruitment of 5,180 Circle Based Officer (CBO) posts across various circles of India. This recruitment cycle began with the notification released on 14 October 2025 and has progressed through the Online Examination on 14 December 2025, Interview rounds from 16 February to 04 March 2026, screening of candidates based on experience and qualifications, and finally the Language Proficiency Test and Document Verification in May and June 2026. Candidates can now check their final selection status on the official SBI careers portal sbi.co.in.

The final merit list has been prepared using the composite score of the Online Examination marks, Screening score, and Interview score (qualifying). Selected candidates will be appointed as Circle Based Officers in Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMG Scale-I) and will be posted in the specific circle they applied for. The salary package includes basic pay of ₹48,480 per month plus Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, Special Allowance, and other benefits as per the bipartite settlement, with the total starting CTC of approximately ₹13 lakhs per annum. As per HRY 2026 records, this is the largest single CBO recruitment by SBI in recent years, providing a major opportunity for candidates with prior banking or PSU experience.

Selected candidates will receive appointment letters via email and registered post in the next 15 to 20 days, and will be required to report to the designated Local Head Offices (LHOs) for induction and training. The induction programme will last for approximately 2 weeks, followed by on-the-job training at branches in the respective circle. After successful completion of probation, candidates will be confirmed as Assistant Managers in the same circle.
