AIIMS NORCET 9 Nursing Officer Final Eligibility List 2026 Released

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has officially released the final eligibility list for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET 9) 2026 on 01 July 2026. The final eligibility list contains the names and roll numbers of candidates who have been found eligible for the position of Nursing Officer at various AIIMS institutions across India. The eligibility list PDF is available for download from the official AIIMS Rajkot website at aiimsrajkot.edu.in.

The NORCET 9 recruitment was notified on 15 March 2026 for a total of 4174 Nursing Officer vacancies across 24 AIIMS institutions in India including AIIMS New Delhi, AIIMS Bhubaneswar, AIIMS Bhopal, AIIMS Jodhpur, AIIMS Rishikesh, AIIMS Rajkot, and other newer AIIMS. The selection process included NORCET 9 Prelims (18 May 2026) and NORCET 9 Mains (15 June 2026), both conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The final eligibility list has been prepared based on the combined performance in Prelims (qualifying) and Mains (merit-deciding).

The NORCET 9 Mains examination had 80 objective type questions of 80 marks in 90 minutes, with each correct answer carrying 1 mark and each wrong answer carrying a penalty of 1/3 mark (negative marking). The exam covered Nursing Subject (70 questions, highest weightage) and General Knowledge (10 questions). The Nursing Subject section tested the candidate's knowledge in various nursing disciplines including Medical-Surgical Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Midwifery, and Fundamentals of Nursing.

Selected candidates will be called for Document Verification at their allotted AIIMS institution, where they need to present all original documents including B.Sc Nursing / GNM certificate, State Nursing Council registration, experience certificate (if applicable), caste certificate (if applicable), and other relevant documents. The pay scale for Nursing Officer at AIIMS is Rs.44900-142400 per month (Level 7) plus DA, HRA, NPA, and other allowances as per AIIMS rules.
