Allahabad University PGAT 2026 Online Counselling Started

University of Allahabad has officially started the online counselling process for PGAT (Post Graduate Admission Test) 2026 on 08 July 2026. Candidates who have qualified the PGAT 2026 examination (result declared on 25 June 2026) can now participate in the online counselling and choice filling process through the official admission portal at auadmission.com. The last date for choice filling is 15 July 2026.

Allahabad University offers a wide range of PG programs including MA, M.Sc, M.Com, M.Ed, LL.M, and other postgraduate courses. The counselling process includes online registration, choice filling (where candidates select their preferred subjects and colleges), seat allotment, and college reporting for document verification.

The counselling registration fee is Rs.500 for all categories. Candidates need to fill their subject and college preferences carefully during the choice filling process. The first seat allotment result will be declared on 20 July 2026. After seat allotment, candidates need to report to the allotted college between 22-28 July 2026 for document verification and admission confirmation.

Sarkari Notice 247 advises all qualified candidates to participate in the counselling process immediately and fill their choices carefully. The preference order should be based on subject interest, college reputation, and location. Classes for PG programs are expected to commence from 01 August 2026.
