BCECEB Bihar ITI Online Counselling 2026 Started - Choice Filling Open

Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has officially started the online counselling process for Bihar ITI admission 2026 on 01 July 2026. Candidates who have qualified the Bihar ITICAT 2026 examination (result declared on 25 June 2026) can now participate in the online counselling and choice filling process through the official BCECEB website at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. The last date for choice filling is 08 July 2026, and the first seat allotment result will be declared on 12 July 2026.

Bihar ITI admission is conducted for admission to various Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across Bihar offering diploma and certificate courses in trades like Electrician, Fitter, Mechanical, Civil, Computer, Electronics, and other technical trades. The Bihar ITICAT 2026 examination was conducted on 15 June 2026 and the result was declared on 25 June 2026. The counselling process includes online registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and college reporting.

The counselling registration fee is Rs.500 for all categories. Candidates need to fill their ITI college and trade preferences carefully during the choice filling process. The seat allotment will be based on the candidate's ITICAT rank, category-wise reservation, and the choices filled. After the first seat allotment on 12 July 2026, candidates need to report to the allotted ITI college between 15-20 July 2026 for document verification and admission confirmation.

Sarkari Notice 247 advises all qualified candidates to participate in the counselling process immediately and fill their choices carefully. The preference order should be based on ITI college reputation, location, trade preference, and placement records. Candidates should keep their original documents ready including 10th certificate, ITICAT scorecard, category certificate, and photo ID for verification. Classes for ITI courses are expected to commence from 01 August 2026. The duration of ITI courses ranges from 6 months to 2 years depending on the trade.

2. Login using your ITICAT 2026 Application Number and Password
3. Complete the counselling registration and pay Rs.500 fee
4. Fill your ITI college and trade preferences (choice filling)
5. Arrange choices in order of preference (most preferred first)
6. Lock your choices before 08 July 2026 deadline
7. Check seat allotment result on 12 July 2026 and report to college
