Indian Navy 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry January 2027 Notification Out
Join Indian Navy (Nausena Bharti) has officially released the notification for the 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry Scheme for January 2027 course on 21 June 2026. Eligible unmarried male candidates who have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with minimum 70% aggregate marks and have appeared in JEE (Main) 2026 examination can now apply online through the official Indian Navy website at joinindiannavy.gov.in. Today (29 June 2026) is the last date to apply, so interested candidates should apply immediately.
The Indian Navy 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry Scheme is a prestigious opportunity for young aspirants to join the Indian Navy as officers and pursue a 4-year B.Tech degree in Engineering branches like Electronics & Communication, Mechanical, Computer Science, or Information Technology at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, Kerala. The entire cost of education, training, accommodation, and medical facilities is borne by the Indian Navy. On successful completion of training, candidates are awarded a B.Tech degree by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and are commissioned as Sub Lieutenants in the Indian Navy.
To be eligible for Indian Navy 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry January 2027, candidates must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) with minimum 70% aggregate marks from a recognised board. They should also have minimum 50% marks in English in either 10th or 12th class. Additionally, candidates must have appeared in JEE (Main) 2026 examination, as shortlisting for SSB Interview will be based on JEE (Main) All India Rank. The candidate must be an unmarried male Indian citizen, born between 02 July 2007 and 01 January 2010 (both dates inclusive).
Sarkari Notice 247 advises all eligible candidates to apply immediately as today is the last date. The selection process includes shortlisting based on JEE (Main) 2026 rank, followed by a 5-day SSB (Services Selection Board) Interview at Naval Selection Boards in Bhopal, Bangalore, or Visakhapatnam. The SSB Interview includes Stage 1 (Officer Intelligence Rating and Picture Perception & Description Test) and Stage 2 (Psychological Tests, Group Testing Officer Tasks, and Personal Interview). Candidates who clear SSB will undergo a 4-5 day Medical Examination at Naval Hospital. The final merit list will be prepared based on SSB marks (out of 900). The pay scale for Sub Lieutenant starts at Rs.56100 per month plus military service pay, DA, HRA, and other allowances.
