MMMUT Gorakhpur Admission 2026 Online Form Released

Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT), Gorakhpur — a premier state technical university of Uttar Pradesh — has officially released the online application form for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs for the academic session 2026-27 on 10 June 2026. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official admission portal at mmmutadm.samarth.edu.in for B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, MCA, and Ph.D programs. The last date to apply is 15 July 2026.

MMMUT Gorakhpur offers a wide range of programs including B.Tech (Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, IT, Chemical), M.Tech in various specializations, MBA, MCA, and Ph.D programs. The university conducts its own entrance examination called MET (Malaviya Entrance Test) for admission to most programs, except M.Tech where GATE qualified candidates get direct admission. The university has excellent placement records with top companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, and others visiting the campus for recruitment.

To be eligible for MMMUT Admission 2026, candidates for B.Tech must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Maths, and a third subject with 45% marks (40% for SC/ST). For M.Tech, candidates need B.Tech/BE in relevant branch with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) or valid GATE score. For MBA, graduation with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) is required. For MCA, BCA/B.Sc with Maths and 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) is needed. The application fee is Rs.1500 for General/OBC and Rs.750 for SC/ST and all female candidates, making it affordable for aspiring engineers.

The MET 2026 entrance exam is tentatively scheduled for 02-03 August 2026 in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The B.Tech exam will have 150 questions of 600 marks in 2.5 hours, while M.Tech, MBA, and MCA exams will have 100 questions of 400 marks in 2 hours. The marking scheme is +4 for each correct answer and -1 for each wrong answer (negative marking). After qualifying MET, candidates will be called for counselling based on their merit rank, where they can choose their preferred branch and program.
