RPSC School Lecturer (Special) Recruitment 2026 Notification Released
Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has officially released the recruitment notification for the School Lecturer (Special) posts for the year 2026 on 15 May 2026. A total of 533 vacancies have been notified across various subjects including Hindi, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and other subjects for senior secondary schools in Rajasthan. Eligible candidates who meet all the eligibility criteria can apply online through the official RPSC website or the SSO portal at sso.rajasthan.gov.in. Today, 30 June 2026, is the last date to apply.
The RPSC School Lecturer (Special) recruitment is being conducted to fill 533 vacancies in various government senior secondary schools across Rajasthan. These are Group B gazetted posts with attractive pay scale and job security. Selected candidates will be responsible for teaching their respective subjects to students of class 11th and 12th in government schools. The pay scale for School Lecturer posts is Rs.15600-39100 per month (Grade Pay Rs.6000, Level 12) plus DA, HRA, and other allowances as per Rajasthan Government rules.
To be eligible for RPSC School Lecturer (Special) 2026, candidates must have a Post Graduate (PG) degree in the relevant subject with minimum 55% marks from a recognised university. They should also have a B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification from an NCTE recognised institute. Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture is required. The age limit is 21 to 40 years as on 01 January 2026, with age relaxation as per Rajasthan Government rules for reserved categories and female candidates.
Sarkari Notice 247 advises all eligible candidates to apply immediately as today is the last date. The selection process includes a Written Examination (Paper 1: General Studies 100 marks, Paper 2: Subject Specific 300 marks) followed by an Interview (72 marks). The final merit list will be prepared based on combined marks of written exam (400) and interview (72), totalling 472 marks. Candidates should carefully read the official notification before applying to ensure they meet all eligibility criteria for their desired subject.
