UP DElEd Admission 2026 Online Application Form Released

Exam Regulatory Authority, Uttar Pradesh has officially released the online application form for the Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) admission 2026 on 20 June 2026. Eligible candidates who wish to pursue the 2-year DElEd course to become primary teachers in government primary schools of Uttar Pradesh can now apply online through the official website at updeled.gov.in. The last date to apply is 15 July 2026.

The UP DElEd is a 2-year diploma course offered by various District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs) and private teacher training institutes across Uttar Pradesh. After successful completion of the DElEd course, candidates become eligible to apply for the position of Assistant Teacher in government primary schools of UP. The course curriculum includes topics like Child Psychology, Teaching Methods, Educational Philosophy, Curriculum Development, and practical teaching experience. The total fee for the 2-year DElEd programme is approximately Rs.10000-15000 per year in government DIETs.

To be eligible for UP DElEd Admission 2026, candidates must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) from a recognised board with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST). There is no specific subject requirement in 12th.
