How to Apply for Gruha Lakshmi Yojana 2026

• ☐ Check your eligibility: You should be a woman, resident of Karnataka, listed as the head of family in the ration card, with family income less than Rs 2 lakh per annum, no family member as Group A or B government employee, and no income tax payee in the family.
• ☐ Get your documents ready: Aadhaar card, bank passbook (account should be Aadhaar-linked), ration card (with you listed as head), income certificate or self-declaration, husband Aadhaar if married, and address proof of Karnataka.
• ☐ Visit the Seva Sindhu portal at sevasindhu.karnataka.gov.in. You can also visit any BangaloreOne centre, Karnataka One centre, or Grama One centre where the operator will help you apply. The application is completely free.
• ☐ Register on the portal with your mobile number and Aadhaar number. Fill in your personal details, family details, family income, ration card details, bank account details, and Aadhaar details. Upload scanned copies of all required documents.
• ☐ Submit the form and take a printout of the acknowledgement. The application will be verified by the Department of Women and Child Development. Verification typically takes 15 to 30 days. You will receive an SMS on each status update.
• ☐ After verification, if found eligible, your name will be added to the beneficiary list and the first installment will be credited on the next 18th of the month. The Rs 2000 will be credited directly to your Aadhaar-linked bank account every month on the 18th.
