Candidates who had successfully cleared the Tier 1 written examination can now download their Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) admit cards by visiting the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in and logging in with their registration number and password. The PET/PST will be conducted at designated centres of various CAPF forces across the country.

The eligibility criteria require candidates to hold a Bachelor’s degree from any recognized university, with a valid LMV driving license mandatory for male candidates applying for Delhi Police SI.
The selection process for SSC CPO SI is multi-stage, starting with Paper 1 (computer-based written examination) which has already been conducted. Candidates who qualified in Paper 1 are now eligible to appear for the PET/PST, which is qualifying in nature but mandatory for all candidates. The PET for male candidates includes a 100-meter race in 16 seconds, long jump of 3.65 meters, high jump of 1.2 meters, and shot put of 4.5 meters. For female candidates, the PET includes a 100-meter race in 18 seconds, long jump of 2.7 meters, and high jump of 0.9 meters. The PST prescribes specific height and chest measurements that vary by force and category.
Candidates who clear the PET/PST will be eligible to appear for Paper 2, which is a computer-based written examination on English Language & Comprehension carrying 200 marks. The final merit list will be prepared based on the combined scores of Paper 1 and Paper 2, with negative marking of 0.25 mark for each incorrect answer in both papers. Selected candidates will be appointed in Pay Level-6 (₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400) with additional allowances such as Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, and force-specific allowances like Risk Allowance, Ration Money, and Dress Allowance. The job offers excellent career growth opportunities with promotions to Inspector, Deputy Superintendent of Police, and higher ranks based on seniority and departmental examinations.
